    The problem

    The client needed to track the flow of people across different corridors and areas, but their existing technology did not allow for this data.

    Thanks to KSI's ability to identify each individual anonymously, it was possible to obtain precise information on access points, journey, dwell time, areas visited, capture rate and sales conversion across all stores.

    This objective information is highly valuable to share with tenants.

    How it was solved

    Data on capture and conversion efficiency was collected, setting up:

    • Customer journey identification to understand shopping mall service demand.
    Initially, we were focused on quantifying customer flow in the corridors. We lacked solid data to demonstrate to our partners that there was movement, but their stores weren't converting at the same level as others. Then we incorporated visitor counts and sales into the flow analysis, allowing us to measure attraction and conversion rates. By comparing stores by category, we could provide concrete automated suggestions to increase their ability to sell or attract customers.
